The Armada Hotel is located at Spanish Point; Co. Clare is one of the most stunning places in Ireland. I've had the pleasure of photographing many weddings over the years at this location and I always enjoy being there. On a bright sunny day it can challenge your technical skills as a photographer. You have to deal with harsh sunlight (always a challenge) when creating flattering light. You then have to deal with those lovely reflections that bounce off the water. Because of the position of the sun, your subjects are nearly always backlit. This is where my good friend flash comes in and I go about creating some pictures.
