A quick blog post about portrait photography. This is a recent image of my son Conor aged 8. I've taken many different images of Conor over the last few years, some have been with the professional approach others have been iPhone snaps. The reason that I'm blogging about this image is, not only am I proud of it from a professional point of view but it also encapsulates Conor.

He is brilliant young boy full of energy and vitally (a cheeky chappie), but he also has a gentle, vulnerable side to his personality. This picture captures the Conor I know and it is an image that I will always cherish.
