John at the Big Five

I cannot stress enough the value of portraiture, particularly when it comes to children. They change so much in a rapid space of time from being a baby to becoming a toddler and ask any parent about the terrible two's :). What’s in a portrait you may ask? Well at a very basic level it's a representation of a person at a specific time in their lives. That's why it's so important to capture those moments when your children are at certain stages in their lives. One day they will be adults.

John called by to the studio, he turned the big five and his mother Susan wanted to mark the occasion so we set about getting some images of the big man. Here's a small selection of images from the shoot.

Check out our portrait photography on Dillon Photography and hopefully you might to arrange a portrait session with the special people in your lives.
